Mornings here begin with birch trees dancing in the window — their sound a particular kind of white noise, clean and calming. Spend the day walking the forest paths at your own pace, breathing the Kurzeme air, feeling the ground underfoot. The sea is close enough to sense, even when you can’t see it.
